Vidovdan

June 28th is a very important day to Serbs. It was originally the feast day for the Slavic god of war "Svetovid" before the Serbian Orthodox Church designated it a memorial day to Saint Prince Lazar and the Serbian holy martyrs who gave their lives in defend their faith during the epic Battle of Kosovo against the Ottoman Empire on June 28, 1389.

The political organization I co-founded, 28.Jun, is named after this day. We are currently entangled in an ongoing dispute with Chelsea Handler about her insults towards the Serbian people. In the last few days 28.Jun has received an unsurpassed amount of press coverage and we have seen our numbers quadruple in a matter of days. Please help us stop the rampant discrimination against the Serbian people and join 28.Jun!
